Our Story

Our farm's story began in 2001, when we first started growing and selling vegetables at our farmers market. What started as a small operation fueled by hard work and love for the land has grown into something far bigger than we ever imagined. From those early market days, we learned the value of fresh, local food and the relationships that form when farmers and families connect over what's on the table. In 2008, we took the next step and launched our very first CSA with just 50 families. That season marked a turning point for our farm. The CSA model allowed us to grow alongside our community, sharing not only vegetables, but also trust, consistency, and a shared commitment to eating the seasons. Year after year, that community grew and today, we are proud to feed over 250 families each summer with fresh vegetables grown right here on our farm.

Farmer Scott leads the operation and is the backbone of the farm. Having grown up on a farm himself, agriculture has always been a part of his life. Over the years, he transitioned from working on the land he knew as a kid to creating a farm of his own. His passion goes beyond the crops; it's about stewardship, family, and building something lasting. This truly is a family farm in every sense of the word. Scott and his wife Chrissy have raised seven wonderful kids, each of whom plays a role in helping the farm run. From planting and harvesting, to packaging shares and helping behind the scenes, the kids have grown up learning the value of teamwork, responsibility, and good food. As the years go by, the family and the farm continue to grow. The oldest, Sarah, welcomed a baby in February 2025 adding a new generation to the farm's story. The second-born, Nate, is also expecting a baby due June 2026, just in time for the CSA season to start! These milestones remind us why we do what we do: to nourish families today while building something meaningful for the future.

Thank you for being a part of our journey. Whether you've been with us since the early market days or you're just joining our CSA for the first time, we're honored to grow food for you and your family. From our fields to your table, we're grateful to share the seasons with you.
